Common questions
A few things people usually want to know.
Don't see your question? Just ask. We're happy to answer over email — no need to book a call first.
Most people who reach out are weighing whether it's worth the conversation. It is. The Clarity Call is free for a reason.
Do I need to transfer my accounts to work with you?
No — and that's by design. Several of our services, including the monthly planning subscription, are structured so you can keep your accounts exactly where they are. You don't have to move anything to get great retirement advice.
Can we meet virtually if I'm not near Boiling Springs?
Absolutely. We work with clients across the country via Zoom — currently in 26+ states. The Retirement Clarity Call and all ongoing work can be done entirely over video if that's more convenient for you.
What's the free Retirement Clarity Call, exactly?
It's a 20-minute conversation — in the office or over video — where we figure out where you are financially, what you're trying to solve, and which path (if any) makes sense for your situation. There's nothing to prepare and nothing to sell. You'll walk away with more clarity than you came in with, even if we don't end up working together.
How quickly will you respond to a message?
We respond to all messages within one business day — usually the same day. You're not going into a ticketing system. You're contacting a small, client-focused practice that takes responsiveness seriously.
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes. Eric has been a fiduciary financial advisor since 1993, and Debra since 2014. As fiduciaries, we're legally required to act in your best interests at all times.
